The San Gabriel Mountains From Here

The San Gabriel Mountains From Here Tube. Duration : 2.43 Mins.

LOL, I accidentally rendered the grid that I use for stereoscopic alignment in Premiere. Well... I'm not going to re-render this, so please ignore the grid lines. :/ Once again, I framed this motion picture vlog with a real, cheap plastic frame that's hanging on our apartment wall here in the San Gabriel Valley. I originally intended to overlay the names of the peaks, but after I got home I realized how incredibly huge of a task that would be, since there are so many peaks that I am not familiar with... so I'll just give you the coordinates of the location of the shot, which is not far from our apartment: +34° 3' 48.21", -117° 49' 42.48" You can easily find that location, eg, via Google Earth or any good map. The peak I always look for, which can be seen many, many miles away because of its height, is Mount San Antonio. It is the first very recognizable peak with the snow on top as I pan eastward. Janice and I always look for it when we are on the beaches in Orange County. Watch this motion picture in 2D or stereoscopic 3D by starting the motion picture, then clicking on the "3D" button under the motion picture and selecting your options. If you don't have a 3D TV or monitor, free anaglyph glasses can be obtained via a Google search. I recommend red/cyan glasses for the Dubois viewing mode in the YouTube player, which works with most monitors.
