Just for fun, here's George Romero's original 1968 Night of the Living Dead, converted to anaglyph 3D. It's also full 1080p HD and possibly the best-looking print of the film you'll ever see. Why is this film in the public domain? According to Wikipedia: Night of the Living Dead entered the public domain because the original theatrical distributor, the Walter Reade Organization, neglected to place a copyright indication on the prints. In 1968, United States copyright law required a proper notice for a work to maintain a copyright.[117] Image Ten displayed such a notice on the title frames of the film beneath the original title, Night of the Flesh Eaters. The distributor removed the statement when it changed the title.[3][118] A limited number of theatrical release prints were distributed by Walter Reade and these copies could have been shelved if Romero and Image Ten had elected. This would have given Romero the opportunity to rename the film, do a few brief "creative" edits, and then obtain a new Copyright. But this was never done and the theatrical releases continued to be distributed until eventually reprinted and distributed by home video distributors. Why didn't I use YouTube's 3D features to post this movie? Because those features don't work in any mobile applications or on Smart TV's at this time. Uploading the anaglyph version will allow you to watch it on any device with a YouTube app.

Recorded at Stimulated, Inc. in Burbank, and Culver Studios in Culver City, California during the period of May 29 - June 10, 2009, the short film for Earth Song features Jasmine Alveran aka, "Earth Girl", who wanders through rain forest, takes a nap and dreams of the splendor of nature, and awakens to find the natural world has been devastated. Of all the short films shot for the project, this film in particular was said to be the one that Jackson was most proud of.
